Aperture 3: Why not trash faces and places databases (300MB)?
Trashing the PointOfInterest.db and VectorMaps.db within the Aperture package (rightclick on Aperture.app>Resources) makes the programm a lot leaner. It "weights" 300MB less now (421MB now on my MBP). No side-effects so far - mind you I am not using faces and places.
